This is Nick, our soldier in Iraq. We have been writing him since last November. He is a great guy. His family lives in NY and he has 4 children. He does some cool things there ( if I tell ya I'll have to kill you) if you can guess you get a prize-(I'll call you the smart one). Everyone should sign up and get their own soldier to write. It is a great pick me up for them and us. The kids get to ask him question about all kinds of stuff. The kids even sometimes draw him pictures and we send them in the mail. He always writes back. The kids get excited when they see he has answered their questions. Thomas loves to ask him about Star Wars and things he did when he was a boy. It is great fun to read about him, he is like an Uncle to them. It's fun to get email from him telling about what he is up to and about what it is like there, right now it gets up to 110-120! Now that is hot! We just email and that is how easy it is! I challenge you all to do it!

your soldier is great! it sounds like such a neat idea for your family and for him! i know david always looked forward to when the kids from church would write him while he was out to sea...it really helps to make you feel loved! what a great thing to do!!
