Our Trip to Boston

Ben Franklin

We all headed out on a cold raining Saturday morning for Boston. We ( our family and my mother-in-law) first went to Harvard. We saw a lot of building and suggested they could go there when they were older and if they got a full ride scholar ship! By the time we had gone to buy hats and t-shirts we all were hungry. So I asked the lady that was checking us out were was a good burger place. She said the Chicken Kitchen. We got there and it was a small place that looked OK from the outside. I went in and the menu looked good and at a good price. I had everyone head in up the stairs. Well, it was a place some would call a bar but I would call a local eatery with glowing lights. No one was there so we sat down in a corner and had some great burgers. Ron had a great lobster roll. He loves those. Another family with kids walked in too, it is a family place. Then off to MIT. Another place the kids might want to go? Ron and I ran in and got some hats, just to remind them they have options. Then off to the freedom trail. We went to Quincy Market and saw Obama and took a few pictures with him. Then off on the trail we went. the camera died so so fun pictures-sorry. Over all the last time we will be there in a long time was a cold but fun time.

What a fun trip! And just talking about the burgers is making me hungry. Get ready for Texas! It is 70 degrees today! :)

This whole post cracks me up!! I love it! I especially like your more "politically correct" definition of where you ate lunch. :)
