happy birthday to one of my favorite primary kids! (although don't tell anyone, i'm not suppose to have faves. i just love seeing maddie's smiling face looking back at me when i conduct the music.)
I still remember Mary pretending she was having a baby, too when you were pregnant with Maddie--she would stick out her little tummy and say to me, "Nanny, the baby is kicking!"--and her barbies kept giving birth as well. Hilarious. It was so much fun being able to see them every summer for awhile there.
